Notice has been received that the Muleshoe Police Deparment has achieved “Re-Recognized Status” for compliance with the Texas Law Enforcement Agency Best Practices Recognition Program. d. January 16th is the first day to apply for a place on the ballot for the City General Election. City District #1 and District #2 will be elected on May 4, 2019. f. Jene Wilton, Bailey County EMS Education Coordinator, will offer to city employees CPR training and bleeding control instruction on Friday, February 1st, from 8am-12:30pm at the City of Muleshoe Training Facility. 10. The Muleshoe Police Department will be hosting “Coffee with a Cop” again on December 17, 2018 at McDonald’s from 8-10a.m. c. Muleshoe EDC hosted Leadership Muleshoe on the morning of November 15th. Matty McLain offered “Getting Things Done” and Slater Elza offered a session on Employment Law. d. The City held its annual Christmas Luncheon on Wednesday, December 5th, at noon at the City of Muleshoe Training Facility. e. Shorty Flores, an employee of the Muleshoe Area Public Library, has announced her retirement. She will be honored with a reception at the library on Thursday, December 20th, from 3-4p.m. She began full time employment at the library on October 1, 1993. f. The Muleshoe Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade will be held on the evening of December 15th. “Shop the Shoe” campaign will also conclude on December 15th.
