Discuss option of an ordinance prohibiting recreational vehicles parked on city streets and possibly setting the date for a public hearing on this subject. 9. Receive Financial Statement for the month ending January 31, 2019. 10. Administrative Reports: a. The city will hold a Wellness Clinic on Tuesday, February 26th for employees and their adult dependents. b. A new feature available now to our region is Text to 911. This feature allow a caller to contact 911 by text in t he event they can’t speak or are unable to communicate because of a threat or endangered position. Call if you can, Text if you can’t. Eighteen of the city staff and employees participated in a CPR and Bleeding Control class instructed by our local Bailey County EMS professionals on Friday, February 1st. The course and hand on training received to better prepare our employees to serve the citizens of the City of Muleshoe. d. Currently three candidates have filed for places on the ballot for the City General Election. Juan Chavez and Colt Ellis have filed for the City District #1 and Lupe Mendoza has filed for City District #2. The deadline to file for a place on the ballot for the City General Election is 5p.m. on Friday, February 15th. Allen Smyer has filed for District #2 for the Hospital District. District #4 is also up for re-election, but no one has filed for that place at this time. The MISD has two at large positions up as well as a Special Electio to fill a vacancy.
