See the Monday, June 13, 2016, Muleshoe City Council Meeting held at City Hall in Muleshoe, Texas.  Items on the Agenda Include:  1.  Oath of Office to Council Member District #1 Colt Ellis  2.  Oath of Office to Council Member District #2 Austin Bamert  3.  Approval of Minutes from May 9, 2016, Meeting  4.  Elect Mayor Pro Tem  5.  Consider Election Service Contract with Muleshoe ISD for Special Election to be held September 8, 2016 with MISD School Board President Carroll Precure and Superintendent Dr. R.L. Richards   6.  Consider Authorizing the Solicitation of Bid for Home Grant Projects  7.  Receive Financial Statement for May 2016   8. Administrative Reports:  a.  The City hosted a blood drive on May 11, 2016   b.  The Muleshoe Water Park opened Tuesday, May 31st  c. Firemen Benny Parker and Gage Edwards won the water polo competition at the Panhandle Fire Convention for the second year in a row   d. The summer reading program is under way at the Muleshoe Area Public Library  e.  The first Movie in the Park will be held on June 16th.  “The Blind Side” will be shown and the Muleshoe Girls Softball League will operate the concession stand  f.  City Attorney Slater Elza has been appointed to the TML Legislative Committee on Transportation and Utilities.  He is appointed in his capacity as the City Attorney for the City of Muleshoe.   The committee met recently and one of the main topics discussed was the shortage of certified water and wastewater system operators.  g. The quarterly TML Region III meeting will be held in Lubbock on Thursday, June 23rd   h.  The Management Team recently attended at meeting where changes on the City’s medical, dental, and vision insurance were explained    9.  Mayor and Council Remarks   10.  Adjourn
