Barbara Mae Blackman’s grandparents Samuel Elijah and Laura Pearl Williamson Morris moved to the Muleshoe area in 1917 along with their oldest son Arnold. Barbara’s parents were Arnold and Grace Johnston Morris. Grace came to Muleshoe in 1920 from Petrolia, Texas, as a bride.
