Impressive West Texas spring thunderstorm with magnificent squall line drops .77″ of rain in Muleshoe, Texas, on June 13, 2014 and .71″ fell at the Muleshoe Mesonet station.  The 2014 total rainfall has been 6.89″ including this rain at the West Texas Mesonet Station, 2 miles south of Muleshoe and the NWS Station at Channel 6 in Muleshoe has received 7.63″.

Watch a powerful storm system move through Lariat, Progress and into Muleshoe, Texas, on June 7, 2014.  See an impressive shelf cloud, frequent lightning and heavy hail as the storm system went on to damage several structures between Muleshoe and Sudan along U.S. Highway 84.  The NWS Station at Channel 6 in Muleshoe got .95″ of rain and hail and the Mesonet site got 1.08″.
