See video of the severe thunderstorm that hit Muleshoe on June 12, 2015 with an intense wall cloud, heavy lightning, rain and hail and flooding on low lying area roadways. The NWS Station at Channel 6 got 1.03″ of rain and the Mesonet site got .74″.  On June 13, 2015 the NWS Station at Channel 6 got .75″ for a two day total of 1.78″.  Rain and storm chances continue through the weekend into early next week, so be aware!  1.57″ of rain fell on June 12th and 13th at the Muleshoe Mesonet station.

See video of the opening ceremonies and the survivor lap of the Dillman Elementary Relay Recess held on May 22, 2015, in Muleshoe, Texas.  The event raised $4,704.96 for the Bailey County Relay for Life which will be held on Friday, June 5th, at the Bailey County Coliseum from 6pm-2am.  The Dillman Elementary Principal is Dani Heathinton.

See video from the heavy downpour of rains overnight on May 21 & 22, 2015, in Muleshoe, Texas, with the NWS Station at Channel 6 getting 1.03″ of precipitation and the West Texas Mesonet site, 2 miles south of town, receiving 1.04″ over the past 24 hours.   The high temp on Thursday was 49 and the low was 43, a difference of only 6 degrees!   On May 23, 2015 we got .43″ of rain early in the morning bringing our 48 hour rainfall total at Channel 6 in Muleshoe to 1.46″ and the Mesonet site had 1.44″.
