See a C-130 Hercules low level fly by at the Muleshoe Municipal Airport honoring USAF Master Seargent Scott Gray’s 23 year military career.  Scott is a 1992 Muleshoe High School graduate and is retiring from the Air Force later this year.  He is the Flight Engineer on this C-130, for more information hear our August 5, 2015 Muletrain News.

Monsoonal rain hits Muleshoe on July 28, 2015, dropping 1.05″ at the NWS Station at Channel 6 and .79″ at the Mesonet site south of town.   Cooler temps and storm chances continue through the rest of the week.

See the Boy Scouts of America Troop 620 Eagle Court of Honor awarding the Eagle Scout rank to Christian Jacob Mora and Kenton Randolph at the First United Methodist Church on July 11, 2015, in Muleshoe, Texas.  The Troop 620 Scoutmaster is Ramon Mora, Invocation by Brad Mahan and speaker is Patrick Tran.

1.07″ of rain fell overnight July 9 & 10, 2015, at the NWS Station at Channel 6 with 1.22″ falling at the Muleshoe Mesonet site.  That brings us to over 2″ on the week so far!
