See the 16th annual Christmas in the Country Concert to benefit the Muleshoe Meals on Wheels held at the Trinity Christian Center Church on December 3, 2015, featuring Reydon Stanford, Kenneth Richards, Betty Hutton, Michelle Young, Heather Garcia, Alyssa Stanford and the Trinity Christian Center Church Band and Choir. This year’s event raised $3,131 for Meals on Wheels and over the course of 16 years of the annual concert it has raised $75,000.

The 806-272-4268 number will show up on your caller id. He asks that if you receive one of these calls please come by the Bailey County Sheriff’s Office at 405 West 2nd Street or the Muleshoe Police Department at 210 East Avenue C.

Game Postponed: The Muleshoe Mules will take on the Shallowater Mustangs in the Regional round of the football playoffs on Monday at 6p.m. in Lobo Stadium, Levelland, Texas. Muleshoe will be the visiting team and game admission is $6 for adults and $4 for students.

See video of the Muleshoe High School Mighty M Marching Band halftime show “The Jolly Roger: A Pirate’s Tale” performed during the Muleshoe vs. Childress football game at Benny Douglas Stadium on Friday. The band received a Division 1 rating in the UIL Region 16 Marching Contest in Lubbock but did not advance out of area competition. The band is under the direction of Daniel Barber and assistants Grady Alberts and Kelli Morrison. The Mighty M Band Drum Majors are Allegra Mora and Marilyn Melendez and Guard Captain Rachelle Whitworth.
