These are the “unofficial” election results from the September 8, 2016, Muleshoe ISD Special election.  We do have some provisional ballots that may change the numbers on these results.

Approving the Ad Valorem Tax Rate of $1.35 per $100 valuation in Muleshoe Independent School District for the current year, a rate that is $0.00 higher per $100 valuation than the school district rollback tax rate for the purpose of increasing the Maintenance and Operation Rate by $0.13 to $1.17 per year and reducing the Interest and Sinking Rate by $0.13 to $0.18 for this year.

Drenching rains fall in Muleshoe beginning on Thursday, August 25th.  As of Thursday, September 1st, the NWS Station at Channel 6 has received 4.28″ in the past 7 days and the Muleshoe Mesonet site has 4.97″.  The mesonet site received 5.99″ of rain and the NWS Station at Channel 6 got 5.34″ during the month of August.   Get more details in our Muletrain News programs.
