Ballard, 2nd Lee Tosh. Lil’ Miss Firecracker Under 1 Winner was Kaizlea Stancell, Runner up Kasidee Cannon and 2nd Runner-up Braxley Blayze Branscum. 1-3 Year Old Winner was Isabel Marie Ramirez, Runner-up Emmaline Grace Bohler and 2nd Runner- up Alee Helton. 4-6 Year Old Winner was Paisli Rose Claunch, Runner-up was Paisley Branscum and 2nd Runner-up Abbey Urbantke. Lil’ Mr. Firecracker Winner Jaxon Parker Shipp, Runner-up Rhett Krew Ratliff and 2nd Runner-up Trayce Layne Tolbert. Muleshoe Pitching winners were in the singles division Russell Magby and doubles Basil Nash and James Turnbow. Bailey County Senior Citizens playhouse winner was Charlotte Field. Shotgun winner from Muleshoe Lions Club was Trey Thompson of Shallowater. Winner of the grill given away by Muleshoe Meals on Wheels was Richard Orozco.

The summer reading program is under way at the Muleshoe Area Public Library e. The first Movie in the Park will be held on June 16th. “The Blind Side” will be shown and the Muleshoe Girls Softball League will operate the concession stand f. City Attorney Slater Elza has been appointed to the TML Legislative Committee on Transportation and Utilities. He is appointed in his capacity as the City Attorney for the City of Muleshoe. The committee met recently and one of the main topics discussed was the shortage of certified water and wastewater system operators. g. The quarterly TML Region III meeting will be held in Lubbock on Thursday, June 23rd h.
