See the Muleshoe City Council Meeting held on November 14, 2016, at City Hall in Muleshoe, Texas where area Veterans were honored for Veterans’ Day.  Items on the agenda:  1. Approval of Minutes   a. October 10, 2016   2. Consider Resolution No. R-720-1116 designating the city’s official newspaper   3.  Consider Resolution No. R-721-1116 Authorizing Participation in the TexPool Investment Pools and Designating Authorized Representatives  4.  Consider Resolution No. R-722-1116 Approving and Authorizing Execution of a Participation Agreement and Trust Instrument for Participation in a Public Funds Investment Pool   5. Main to be used as a training facility.  8.  Consider reimbursement of receipts from Muleshoe Road Riders for 2016 Motorcycle Rally from Hotel/Motel Tax Funds.  9.  Consider recommendation from the Muleshoe Economic Development Board for the reappointment of Joe Osterkamp for a three-year term to the MEDC Board.  10. Consider bids for renovation of elevated storage tanks.  11.  Consider amendments to the bylaws of the Muleshoe Housing Authority.  12.  Receive financial statement for the month ending October 31, 2016.  13. Economic Development Director Kasey Coker has been elected to the High Ground of Texas Board of Directors for a four-year term  b. The TML Multistate IEBP Region 3 Election Results were tabulated and David Riley will represent Region 3 from October 1, 2016-October 1, 2019.  c.  The annual City Christmas Party is scheduled for Noon on Wednesday, December 7th, at the Muleshoe Country Club.  16. See the Muleshoe High School Mighty M Band halftime marching performance of “Fuego en el Llano” from October 21, 2016, during the Muleshoe vs. Friona football game.  The MHS band will march in UIL competition on Saturday, October 22nd, at 8:30p.m. at Lowrey Field in Lubbock, Texas.  The band is under the direction of Daniel Barber, Grady Alberts and Kelli Morrison.  Mighty M Band Drum Majors are Marilyn Melendez and Yavet Elizalde and Flag Corp Captains are Leti Loya and Kiarra Regalado.
