See the first wind turbine being built in Bailey County as part of the 148 megawatt Blue Cloud Wind Farm north of Circleback, Texas. The first of 43 wind turbines was finished on August 9, 2018, and is a Vesta 3.45MW windmill, one of the largest models in the world. See some video of the recent rainfalls that have temporarily helped ease a drought in the Muleshoe area as 3″ of rain has fallen in the last 6 days. Little Mr. Firecracker pageant winner was Ryker Claborn and Little Miss Firecracker was Piper Overman.
