Each group gets a check for $4,847.76 from the Jennyslippers. Royce Turner and Carolyn Johnson receive the gift on March 3, 2021, at the Oneita Wagnon Senior Center from the last remaining Jennyslippers Elaine Parker, Darlene Pierce, Ruby Green, June Green and Crisping Green. See the DeShazo Elementary P.E. Dribbling Exercises under the direction of Shelly Turnbow performed for our camera on February 3, 2021, at their gymnasium. The 3rd, 4th and 5th grade usually exhibit these skills at halftime of MHS varsity basketball games but due to the pandemic were unable to this year. 5th graders: 1st Group King, Riley & Sanchez and 2nd Group Davis, Campos, & Butler, 3rd Graders: 3rd group Sierra, Wallace & Coffman, and 4th Group Carpenter, Cowart & Seymour, 4th Graders: 5th Group Ross, Mora, & Sturidvant, and 6th Group Morales, Olivas & Villanueva.
