Administrative Reports: a. Staff and Council member Mendoza attended the TML Region III Zoom Meeting on March 25th. The program was an update on the current Legislative Session. b. The Muleshoe Water Park is scheduled to open on June 1st. c. The Youth Fishing Day at Lake Muleshoe will be Saturday, June 5th. d. We are making plans for Movie in the Park for the third Thursday in June, July and August.
e. As a result of HB 3834 passed at the last legislative session, cyber security training is now required by staff and council yearly. This will have to be completed and sent in to Texas Department of Information Resources by June 15, 2021. 11. Mayor and Council remarks. 12. Adjourn.

After an extremely dry 2020 and start to 2021, the Muleshoe area got hit with a drenching rain on May 3, 2021, during the evening hours. The NWS Station at Channel 6 received .55″, the Muleshoe Mesonet got .61″ and the Earth Mesonet, next to Tolk Plant, got .64″ of moisture. See the Dillman Elementary first annual egg drop that took place on April 30, 2021, in Muleshoe, Texas. First grade students created devices to protect a raw egg that were dropped from 25 feet by a bucket truck provided by Bailey County Electric Cooperative.
