Road construction on U.S. Highway 84/70 along most of American Boulevard in Muleshoe, Texas on March 7, 2013.  Completion on the project is expected during the Fall of 2013, according to Lee Hayes with the Texas Department of Transportation, at an estimated cost of $7.6 million.   Find more details on the construction project at the TXDOT website.

Blizzard conditions in the Muleshoe, Texas area on the morning of February 25, 2013.  The National Weather Service station at Channel 6 in Muleshoe had 7″ of snow and .49″ of moisture.

Dense fog, rain and intense thunderstorms in the Muleshoe area on February 20, 2013, with .16″ of rain falling at the National Weather Service Station at Channel 6 and .12″ at the West Texas Mesonet station, 2 miles south of Muleshoe.  Upwards of 1″ of rain was reported in the Needmore area and snow fell overnight in Lazbuddie.
