See video of the Muleshoe High School Mighty M Marching Band halftime show “The Jolly Roger: A Pirate’s Tale” performed during the Muleshoe vs. Childress football game at Benny Douglas Stadium on Friday.   The band received a Division 1 rating in the UIL Region 16 Marching Contest in Lubbock but did not advance out of area competition.  The band is under the direction of Daniel Barber and assistants Grady Alberts and Kelli Morrison.  The Mighty M Band Drum Majors are Allegra Mora and Marilyn Melendez and Guard Captain Rachelle Whitworth.

See Danny Campos receive the 3A Built Ford Tough Player of the Week trophy on Octobert 14, 2015, from Martin Sanchez with Big Valley Automotive in Portales.  Danny was chosen for his week 5 QB  performance vs. Kermit where he passed for 432 yards and seven TDs.    Danny follows in the footsteps of five Mule QBs receiving this award Garrett Riley (2007), Wes Wood (2008),  Jared Skipworth (2009), Cooper Washington (2010) and Caleb Wood (2012).   Garrett Riley and Wes Wood were also named the Built Ford Tough Players of the Year.
