See the Muleshoe High School Mighty M Band halftime marching performance of “Fuego en el Llano” from October 21, 2016, during the Muleshoe vs. Friona football game.  The MHS band will march in UIL competition on Saturday, October 22nd, at 8:30p.m. at Lowrey Field in Lubbock, Texas.  The band is under the direction of Daniel Barber, Grady Alberts and Kelli Morrison.  Mighty M Band Drum Majors are Marilyn Melendez and Yavet Elizalde and Flag Corp Captains are Leti Loya and Kiarra Regalado.

Beto Diaz Built Ford Tough Player of the Week

See Muleshoe Mules QB Beto Diaz receive the 3A Built Ford Tough Player of the Week trophy on September 27, 2016, from Martin Sanchez with Big Valley Automotive in Portales.   Beto was chosen for his week 2 performance vs. Snyder where he passed for 295 yards and five touchdowns and ran for 146 yards and two more scores.   Beto follows in the footsteps of six Mule QBs receiving this award Garrett Riley (2007), Wes Wood (2008),  Jared Skipworth (2009), Cooper Washington (2010), Caleb Wood (2012) and Danny Campos (2015).   Garrett Riley and Wes Wood were also named the Built Ford Tough Players of the Year.  Beto is the son of Beto and Kit Diaz and the grandson of Rick and Alice White and Sylvia Diaz all of Muleshoe.
