Low at the NWS Station at Channel 6 in Muleshoe dropped to 4 degrees Saturday and Sunday mornings with a layer of sleet that fell all morning into the early afternoon hours followed by 4″ of snow later in the day through the overnight.   Our 2 day precipitation total is .78″.  On Sunday Muleshoe reached a high of 23 degrees with a stunningly cold -8 degree low Monday morning with no new snow or sleet falling.  The Muleshoe Mesonet, 2 miles south of town off of Hwy 214, recorded a low of -10 Monday morning.
